Happy Birthday to Channing

A few random pictures before Channing’s birthday – Caelyn in her “Cute & Sweet” candy corn outfit and lots of canning was done with April and I – chicken and applesauce.

Channing had a super fun 9th birthday.  He had school that day, but they had Halloween Fun at school, so it wasn’t a regular day.  I picked the boys up at school and we had super yummy cookies from Paradise Bakery and then we went to Bounce-U.  A super fun place with giant inflatables for the kids to play on, in and around.  Jacob and J’Nett met us there, so there was even some cousin fun!

After Bounce-U, I took the boys to CafĂ© Rio where we ordered takeout and then drove back to the school for the Fall Festival.  They had a blast bouncing in the bounce houses, climbing the rock wall, dancing to some monster song, eating donuts, bowling with pumpkins, and going through the haunted house.  Bob met us there and we ate dinner and he took them through the haunted house (because there was no way I’d take Caelyn in there – she was just a newbie then).

After a few hours there we went back home where Channing opened presents and blew out his candles on his Karate cake made by our friend Alex.  It was a fun birthday and I think we all had a good time at the various activities.  Happy Birthday Channing!  9 years old already! Man you’re growing up fast!

Cook-a-thon Oct. 2010

Yep, we braved it again.  An all-day cook-a-thon.  We made some usuals and also tried a few new ones. The pot pie was notably good.  So was the fresh applesauce! Yum!  Notice Helena sporting her baby bump (ok, it’s not really noticeable, but it’s there)!  April Pullins came over to lend a hand.  Erma popped in as well for a little while.  The kids all came over after school and some even helped make the applesauce.  Cassidy came to help out toward the end and take her food to the Millers where J’nett was sleeping off her all-nighter at work.  It was a fun yet tiring day (as usual)!

Halloween Party for little kiddos

A few days before Halloween we hosted a little party for those kids that weren’t big enough to go to school.  We had lunch with Halloween themed food and all the kids dressed up.  It was lots of fun and we had a great turnout!

Some October Fun!

If you visited us in October, your picture might be in here!  Mostly this is just random pictures of the kiddos.  Caelyn was growing bigger and starting to smile and hold her head up better. There’s a picture of the Mortimers who came over to watch Conference with us and have dinner.  The boys playing outside at the park with the Damanys (water balloon launching etc…).  Another water balloon fight with Perciballi kids.  (It was fall break and it was warm, so anything water was IN)!  A lightsaber duel when Hayden slept over during Fall break.  Channing building a birdhouse for scouts.
