Devin took all the boys to the Leo Carillo Ranch in Carlsbad so the girls could have a break from the insanity! (thanks Dev)! They had a picnic lunch there and saw lots of peacocks and they ran around with large sticks (sounds like a perfect boy outing to me)!

Later that day we all went to see the San Diego Temple. It was covered in scaffolding since they are refinishing the outside, but it was impressive to see anyway.

We then went to La Jolla to view the seals and the sunset. Guess there’s some controversy on the seals living there. A wall was put up so that kids would have a safe place to play and swim without waves, but the seals took over (in a big way). Look how many we saw!
