The kids started their first day of school at a new school near our new home. We drive everyday nearly 3 hours in the car just to do this, but we felt that the kids should start there rather than start here and then have to move to another school after a month, when we’ll move into our house (even though that’s been delayed another 2 weeks or so). They all like their teachers a lot and seem to be doing fine.
We had a wonderful surprise visit from the Eyre’s and you can see all the happiness when our kids get together! It was such a fun night of pizza and playtime!
The boys did great in scouts over the last month and Channing completed his Webelos requirements and Cameron earned a few belt loops. He’s just finishing up his Wolf and Channing is just finishing up his Arrow of Light. So that’s coming soon! For pack meeting they held a Rain Gutter regatta. Well it rained, so I guess it worked! LOL! The boys were frustrated because their boats kept flipping over, but by the end they seemed to get it figured out ok. It was all just for fun anyway. I love the fun things they do in this pack though! Keeps the boys on their toes!
