As part of Spanish Fork’s Rodeo Days, there’s a “fishing” event that the kids attend. The kids each caught a fish, with the help of a net, in a giant pool that was set up in a park. It was so funny to watch. At the end, they each had a fish. They wanted to keep them as pets. Grandpa wanted to eat them for dinner. Grandpa won. LOL!
As a side note…this is the day (July 21st) that we found our future home in AF. It popped up on the mls while we were at the Fish Rodeo and we called our agent and went to see it an hour later. Our van overheated on the way, but luckily Mom and Dad Paxman were following us in their car. So we took their car the rest of the way to the house and loved it and put an offer on it that day. It was crazy fast!
