Yay for CA and Disneyland (and Uncle Merrill and Stephanie for letting us crash at there place for a few nights)!
We had a fun-filled, whirlwind vacation with our family, the Millers, Bob’s parents, and the Eyre’s! So many people and so much fun and so little time! We crammed in as much as possible though. We arrived on Sat. the 4th and spent 2 nights at Merrill and Stephanie’s house with the Millers and mom and dad Paxman. We went to church with them and had some great food! My kids always love going to their house (Although they wreak havoc every time. We try to maintain some semblance of control, but they always seem to be so wired after being in the car for so many hours). This was Caelyn’s first big trip and she really did great in the car. She was VERY unhappy on Sunday night for some reason though. Poor kiddo. Eventually we got her calmed down.
We started a tradition last time time we went to Disneyland. The kids open a pair of Disney pjs) so much cheaper on sale at the Disney Store than buying them at DLand)! So every night they get something new that they can wear to DLand the next day or wear at night. It’s part of their Christmas gift, so it’s kind of fun to watch them get all excited. They opened new matching jackets and hats the day we left (much easier to spot kids at Dland when you put them in bright matching clothing)!
